About Moms Who Trade
I'm Mel. I onboard moms into trading, from total beginner to placing your first trade, and it's all free.
No paid course. No finance-bro talking down to you. Just the exact path I'd give a friend sitting across from me at my kitchen table.
That's literally how this started.
How this actually began
A couple of years ago I had no career direction. I'd tried different things - even a baby clothing brand that didn't work out. After that, I didn't work for about two years. I raised our girls while my husband built his career in tech and crypto.
Then he sat me down one day and showed me trading.
I knew nothing. I got below average in math in high school. I couldn't read a chart to save my life. But I learned the basics, opened a Phantom wallet account, and traded the $TRUMP launch, and made enough profit to buy my own MacBook.
That was the moment it became real. Not theoretical. Not someone else's world. I earned it myself, with a skill I taught myself.
I started talking to my friends about what I was learning, and they got interested. They wanted me to show them how to do it too, moms in the same spot I'd been in, who didn't want to start another business or crawl back into the career search. They just wanted their own income and a real skill on their own terms.
Three hours later, they were placing their first paper trades.
That table is where Moms Who Trade was born, before it even had a name.
Why I built it this way
The trading world is a wall of jargon, gatekeeping, and guys yelling "diamond hands" at each other. It's built to make you feel stupid so someone can sell you the answer.
I wanted the opposite.
A space where moms can learn without feeling dumb, trade without being pressured, and build a skill that stays with them for life. Where family comes first, missing a trade because you were with your kids is not a failure, it's the whole point.
I'm not here to tell you what to buy. I share my journey; I don't dictate yours. I'd rather teach you to fish than sell you a fish. And once you have this skill, no one can take it back. It's yours for good, the kind of thing you can even pass down to your own kids.

Where I am now
I'm building all of this from the road. We packed everything into storage, pulled the kids out of school, and bought one-way tickets to Bangkok. I trade from cafés while the girls do their schoolwork, and I run MWT from my phone.
That's the point I'm trying to make with every lesson: this is a skill that pays you for life, and it fits around your family - not the other way around.
